SAFE Choices Programme
Choices courses lead to outcomes of reduced depression and anxiety, jobs and learning,
employability and motivation, and resilience and lasting change.
Choices is a holistic programme based on cognitive behavioural therapy and vocational support. This is currently delivered as both an adult and a youth programme, and has become the focus of SAFE's work.
Choices is truly life changing, giving outcomes of significant internal change in confidence, hope and resilience. This in turn leads to measurable external change in:
- jobs - job search self efficacy, re-employment, voluntary work and further learning,
- health - reduced anxiety and depression, and
- social - tackling addictions, housing, relationships and debt
Health
Choices is aimed at helping those facing mild to moderate depression and anxiety, and also can help those facing disability and chronic pain.
Employment
Choices is aimed at those who are workless, and especially for those facing multiple barriers, health problems, and the long term workless.
Social
