The Institute of Fundraising has created a series of short videos to give a snapshot of the key principles of successful fundraising, and offer those with limited experience an ideal ‘way in’ to be a fundraiser.

Assessing needs in your community
June 17, 2011 - 16:59 | by Geoff3589Our research indicated that only 43% of Franchisees did a community needs assessment before taking on the franchise.
This could be put down to sufficient local knowledge and/or a passion for the ministry of the franchise i.e. if a community needs assessment had shown an alternative pressing need, there might not have been the gifting necessary for that alternative ministry.
So it seems that assessing needs in the community is not mandatory. Read more »
