The Institute of Fundraising has created a series of short videos to give a snapshot of the key principles of successful fundraising, and offer those with limited experience an ideal ‘way in’ to be a fundraiser.

Assessing needs in your community

Our research indicated that only 43% of Franchisees did a community needs assessment before taking on the franchise.

This could be put down to sufficient local knowledge and/or a passion for the ministry of the franchise i.e. if a community needs assessment had shown an alternative pressing need, there might not have been the gifting necessary for that alternative ministry.
